We distribute Storm Stoppers® exclusively through our home office in Orlando and the below Authorized Retail Dealers. We do not sell through Lowe’s, Home Depot or any other “big box” home improvement chain. The way you can differentiate Storm Stoppers® from hurricane protection products that are sold at those chains is our patented 3M Dual Lock™ fastening system. 3M Dual Lock is exclusive to Storm Stoppers and we do not sell Storm Stoppers with any other fastening system.
The reason we do not
sell Storm Stoppers with bolts or screws is that products such as those
are hard to install, heavy, expensive and dangerous. Bolt on shutter
systems are dangerous, since bolt on shutters inhibit safe exit from
